College Bball Thread

I have in the back of my mind -- and I'm guessing a lot of folks here do as well -- that in 2-3 years, when Woody decides it's time to hang up the clipboard, we just head up to Muncie and have a little chat with Michael Lewis.

So far, he seems to be doing pretty well at BSU -- 13-5 after they won just 14 games all of last season.

Wonder if Notre Dame might see an instate commodity, give him a look and foil those plans!

My crimson-colored glasses allow me to envision Lewis already thinking along those lines and waiting patently, declining some offers along the way. But don’t get me wrong, I’m all for waiting to see his yearly product in Muncie and getting the best fit for us, whoever that may be.

ND head coach Mike Brey has announced his retirement at the end of the current season.  He's the winningest coach in ND history with 481 wins.

Incredible how poorly his older, experienced team is playing this season. Doesn’t make much sense. Kept thinking they’d get it back on track but the train is still off the rails.

Ball St/Kent St 6:30 cbssports network.    Nice way to start the Friday slate.   @johnsoniu

Beat me to it!  Big game between the MAC leaders and a good chance for the Mike Lewis fans to watch their boy in action.

Capping the night off with MWC after dark battle between Boise St and New Mexico.

Haven't mentioned here. I would prefer men's college basketball go to the 4Qs like women have. I believe it's more enjoyable to watch/more strategy involved. I believe the game flows better, as well.

Agree, and men's bball is the odd man out. Pro's run quarters, no reason why college men's ball can't.

It's gotta be the commercial thing. Some how they think they'll lose money if they go to 4Qs? I assume that's the reason, anyway.
