Saw a stat on X last night about Purdue: when Smith takes 12+ shots a game Purdue is undefeated. In all of Purdue's losses in the last 2 years, Smith has taken less than 12 shots.

Easy solution right after the opening tipoff.

Nortwestern/Illinois going overtime.  Illinois had a long three point shot miss with about 15 seconds to go ahead and then Northwestern misses a fall away three as time expires Miss as well.  Really bad play design on both.  Really thought Collins should have used a time out to set up a play because it was going nowhere.

Barnhizer is so strong, no idea why a stepback 3 was the move there.

Illinois and Northwestern just played in football a week ago. Pretty creative scheduling, or maybe the Big Ten just randomly did it.

Don't want to see it until Woodson's gone, but I wonder if we'll ever play Purdue in early December.

Not bad for a team that also needed OT to beat Eastern Illinois.

Yeah, and a really poor game from an Illinois team that was coming off a 13 point neutral court win over a ranked Arkansas team.

Illinois is kind of the anti-IU team -- offense built completely around the three right now and when they are hitting they are hard to stop;  when they aren't, you get the offensive output they had against Northwestern.
