1st time I’ve seen Rio Grande. If you’re scheduling a mid-major buy game I’m not sure you should be wanting these guys. Create a lot of space. A bunch of shooters. You catch them on a bad night and you could really look bad.

Fun game. Wisconsin’s free throw shooting is very impressive. Over 90% on the season as a team. With the home whistle they’ll be a tough out at home all year.

Aztecs down a notch from their last few teams, still solid . Hanging with the Zags so far. But Zags are a pretty impressive well balanced squad. And dang, Ike has to be like 30 by now doesn’t he?

UT Rio Grande’s Coach Khalil Fennell’s story is incredible. He’ll be one to keep an eye on.

That’s why it’s sort of funny that fans get so bent out of shape by an OOC game.

Wiscy beats Arizona by 15 but then barely slips by Texas-Rio Grand Valley. I mean WTF.

A couple of OOC games that really led people down the wrong path was when IU beat both UNC and Kansas in the 2016-2017 season and KU ended up in the Elite 8, UNC won the Natty but  IU didn’t even make the tourney. Just crazy.

I can’t remember a long time assistant taking over the reigns from a great coach and completely abandoning the style of play like Gard has and still be successful. He’s not as successful as Bo but he’s got his own thing going on which seems to be working.
