Jarin Stevenson has reclassified from '24 to '23 and has committed to Alabama.  Seems a little strange -- he's a borderline top 50 player and pretty thin center (6'10", 200 pounds) whom I think probably isn't going to add much to Alabama right away.

WVU's situation is so similar to when Knight was fired and the players basically said it was Mike Davis or they were gone.

It is except WV is making it abundantly clear they have Interim’d this guy and plan to find their permanent in the off-season. And in todays transfer portal market you can rebuild an entire roster in an off-season so if the AD and NIL are motivated their shouldn’t be the slide we experienced.

I don't remember all the players being on that bandwagon. We maybe should have let those who were just leave. Especially Fife.

He was a player maybe before his time. 6-9 guard.shot 37% on 4.4 3s as a freshman. How much further could that Cincy have gone with Kenyon Martin playing?

Treloar voluntarily stepped aside in favor of Davis. Probably a smart decision on his part.

And IU was dumb enough to keep Davis for a 2nd season even a certain HOF coach was coming back to college... How much different would the 2000s have been with Pitino instead? No way there wouldn't be multiple elite 8 and Final Four appearances.

Did get to the championship game in that 2nd year which I wouldn't give that up.

As for Pitino we probably would have had all of our wins vacated
