My vision of the conference scheduling:

4 four team clusters.  You play each team in your cluster twice and every other team outside your cluster once.  Clusters by region.

cluster 1

Maryland, Rutgers, Penn State, Ohio State

cluster 2

Indiana, Purdue.Illinois, Northwestern

cluster 3

Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Wisconsin

cluster 4

Iowa, Nebraska, USC, UCLA

That would be 18 conference games per team.  No néed for the silly conference games in December and the ‘travel buddy’ system mentioned would work.

Smu up 2 with 2:16 to go.  Good finish coming up

Hawaii down 2 with 5.5 to go.   Smu ball.   Hawaii threw the ball away after an smu missed FT.  Brutal

Wasn't sure where to post it, but I saw Anthony Leal used his NIL money to pay off his sister's student loans.  He may not contribute on the court, but served as a good representative of the program; hopefully he can develop and contribute some as an upper classman.

Is this some Bleacher Report anti-IUBB hot-take?

We are #16 in the country with wins over two Top-25 teams and no bad losses.

No this is me. Indiana wasn't ever as high in mine as it was in the AP. Indiana dropped from 14 to 19 after the Rutgers game. 19 to 22 after the Arizona game. 22 to out after the Kansas game.

Cheer up, LCS! IUBB is fine and good.

And you're going to see lots of crappy arguments about how the 10th place 2-10 Big 12 team should be in the tourney.

That would be extreme and it would be a 2-16 team because they play 18 conference games.    I know you hate it but it will allow for a 8-10 or even 7-11 Big 12 team have a shot at making the tourney.    Just like B1G is probably going to get a team with 8-12 or 9-11 get in.   It is what it is and isn’t going to change as long as these conference set themselves up in the non conference which will allow more teams.   I know your stance

I do hate it, and that team will do what they do best, lose.

Maybe it is, but what other team wouldn't drop out from 22md after getting completely dominated?

Who the hell had them at 22?
