Huge game in the MAC at 6

Ohio/Toledo. If you haven’t watched Ohio play yet they are good.

Love me some Friday night MACtion. Top of that conference is always solid. Toledo is no slouch, should be a good game. I'm thinking about taking Toledo and the 4.5 points.

Wow, Kofi will not play at Maryland tonight and his status for Tuesday against Michigan State is questionable, due to a concussion sustained against Purdue!

Tarvik's updated predicted end of the season Big Ten standings:

Illinois 15-5  (22-8)

Wisconsin 14-6  (23-7)

Purdue 14-6  (25-6)

Ohio State 12-7 (have to reschedule Nebraska, so should be projected 13-7)   (20-9)

Indiana 12-8  (21-9)

Michigan State 12-8  (21-10)

Iowa 11-9  (21-10)

Michigan 9-11  (15-15)

Rutgers 9-11  (15-15)

Penn State 8-12  (13-15)

Minnesota 7-13 (16-13)

Northwestern 7-13  (14-15)

Maryland 5-15  (13-18)

Nebraska 3-16 (with OSU game, would be 3-17)  (9-21)

--------

That would project to 7 teams in the tournament, all safely in.Michigan and Rutgers would not come close if they were 9-11 due to poor non-conference records.  Minnesota could blow a 9-0 non-conference jump if they don't start winning in conference.

I just watched the Purdue/UNC game…. No way there are 5 teams better than Purdue. I’m sick over it. They can win it all this year. I don’t see any chance that we stay within 10 points of them in any game. Better at every single position outside of TJD.  Even with him, Trevion Williams is fully capable of holding him at bay.

How do you feel 2 months later? Sorry, just felt like being that guy today.

Tuned into the IL MD game. Probably not more than 3-4000 fans in the stands for a ranked team coming to town.

Sad.

Illinois looks bad without Cockburn

Yeah, but imagine how we would look without TJD.  It's not like we could beat the #4 team without him.

Honestly, though, I think we can admit that our ability to play without TJD would greatly impact our play normally.  That said, they basically outplayed Purdue when Cockburn was out due to foul trouble -- went on a 27-9 run against htem.

I know that IU fans get frustrated with X......I can't imagine how we would react to the roller coaster ride that is Andre Curbelo.

I was thinking something similar watching the PU v Illini game. Broadcasters were gushing about Curbelo. I was like have we watched the same player at all? He has really decent moments and really really bad ones sometimes in the same half lol!
