I responded because your post included Illinois who struggled with their tough schedule in their first 2 years.  Give underwood all the credit in the world for changing his approach these last 2 years but that doesn’t change the fact the he was historically bad in Illinois history early on.  That’s just my opinion.  I wouldn’t of added Illinois with the other teams 

The last two years the BIG has been the toughest it has ever been.

 

In those two years Illinois is a combined 28-11 in conference play. I will disagree with you, but just my opinion

I agree with you. Illinois has been strong. Thanks namely to Dosunmu and Cockburn. I’m genuinely curious to see they can continue the success without like talent. I say probably not.

I think Michigan, Purdue, Michigan State poised to be the better B1G teams next season. Illinois and Ohio State next up.

Maybe Archie will figure out having 2 or 3 legitimate studs leads to winning basketball games. Landing borderline 4 stars and hoping to build something might work at Dayton or might work if you are a special coach. If you are Archie Miller and those players don’t particularly care for you, it might be an uphill battle.

Unless I’m reading it wrong Sparty could possibly get screwed out of the 9 seed in the B1G tournament.  They made Sparty make up all 20 games.  If the lose Sunday  they will be 8-12.   IU doesn’t have to make up the Michigan game if they beat Purdue they will be 8-11.  Even though Sparty beat IU twice they are going by winning percentage and because IU played 1 less game they would get the 9 seed.  That is some crap if that’s the case

He single handedly got them back in that 2nd half. I’d love to see him drag them to the 2nd weekend.

The difference between being the 8 and 9 seed only changes what jersey you wear. Indiana and Michigan State are playing next Thursday no matter what and the winner plays Michigan.

Toughest relative only to it's current competition. I really don't care how good the bottom of a conference is. What matters is how good the top is.

It’s between the 9 seed and 10 seed.    Sparty would probably want that to happen so they get the 10 seed instead of the 9 seed
