Really nice moment in the Vermont vs. U of Albany.  Josh Speidel got to start and UAlbany allowed him to score Vermont's first basket.  If you've forgotten, Speidel was a highly touted UVM recruit from Columbus, IN, before a car accident in high school left him in a coma.

He went to my High School and I still remember the day of the accident. Shook the entire community. Absolutely incredible moment for him and his family. Amazing.

I think MD has some of the same scoring issues that plague IU.. They go on scoring draughts, and if the other team is hitting, it’ll lead to a big defect. The difference is, they have shooters who can bring them back.

How is purdoodoo consistently allowed to turn basketball games into wrestling matches...? Do the longer tenured coaches have that much pull?

Painter is on the commute that decides what’s a priority. Maybe he is very persuasive

Well be prepared for it.

Oh I’m fully prepared. My philosophy since we lost in the Sweet Sixteen to UNCheat has been to just kinda pop in every couple seasons to test the waters and see what the NCAA (and IU of course) are doing to dig themselves out of their respective holes. I’ve given a lot of energy to this team and sport in the past and for awhile now that’s been the only way I can keep my sanity.

I know Lunardi is not the most accurate bracketologist but he now has IU in his Last 4 In and Purdue is the 5th team out. After Purdue beats Iowa then Rutgers, they will be in and we could very well be on the outside looking in. HAVE to win tomorrow!

If you know he's not the most accurate...then why refer to his cockamamie bracket?!? Go by the bracket matrix.

He’s not just not the most accurate. He’s one of the worst iirc.

I have a bad feeling Purdue is going to make the tourney and we aren’t. Hope like crazy I’m wrong.

I don't know about us missing it, but I could easily see them sneaking in.

Of course Purdue would be an historical anomaly to make the tournament with so many losses. Freaking Purdue, man.

Here's the reality great coaches win in March. Painter is that as is Izzo. Fran and Turgeon are not.

Now as for IU, we are not going to get any help but the ball is firmly in our court and if we win our last 2 and that Wednesday game it really doesn't matter what else happens around us and we get in with plenty of room to spare. May need an extra win Wednesday now to lock it up, but we are firmly in control of our destiny no matter what Painter or anyone else does which is new for Archie.

We want this to work out and Archie to prove he is the guy then he needs to get wins this week without help which seems fair. Its that simple.
