Big difference between making terrible calls and blatantly refusing to call something.

I mean, college refs do the same thing when it comes to big programs. You don't think refs let Duke or Kentucky get away with things that they call against other schools? Different strokes for different folks, but complaining about NBA officiating is silly when it's better than NCAA officiating. The talent in the NBA is better now than ever.

Yea it’s way better officiating and it’s not even that good really. Which says how terrible college refs are. And the talent is by far the deepest it’s ever been. Especially at PG, SF and C. The game itself has gotten better as well. Players actually play defense unlike in the 80’s and don’t play thug ball like in the 90’s. There are plenty of flaws but the NBA seems to want to work on it.

Greatest sports on the planet. Watching Oregon/Michigan replay. Pritchard is one heck of a basketball player.

Watching UCLA-Notre Dame replay. Notre Dame “doesn’t foul.” We’ll need to play through the post and force them to foul. They lit up UCLA from outside (8 made 3s to 3 made 2s in the first half). If we force them to make 2s or they’re cold from outside I like our chances.

Yeah, college officiating is often ridiculous, and usually favors the home team. “Buy games”. Reffing even more horrendous.

I love college basketball, but the home and away discrepancy is beyond ridiculous and not just at Wisconsin.

I love neutral court games so much more. I enjoy Indiana at home because I know odds are stacked in our favor, unless TV teddy has the game.

A couple takeaways from some games yesterday that I finished watching this morning. Rutgers first half was as impressive as I’ve seen them play since Pikiell took over. Hard place to coach but I think they got the right guy.

Georgia lost by 20 at Arizona St. they shot 2-26 from the 3 pt line.

BYU with an impressive win at Utah St. watch out for BYU. I think they have a chance to beat the Zags at BYU and I definitely think they can finish second in the WCC behind the Zags

Liberty stays unbeaten after a win at Vandy. Vandy might not be a good team but that’s the kind of win that can keep Liberty in the at-large discussion. They won’t get many opportunities for a power 5 win so this one was a big one. In my opinion they are top 25 good. Big one for them will be Dec 29 when they play at LSU.

I imagine PU wins this because Neb is just gonna run out of gas. But Hoiberg did a really good job the other night and he’s doing a good job tonight. Very impressed. He’s getting the matchups he wants.
