Child’s first game of the year for BYU (ncaa suspended him 9 games because his paperwork for testing the draft last year was late for coming back to school). He has 11 of the 18 pts. BYU up 9 on Utah. Kid is a stud

If (before the FSU game) Indiana "hadn't played anyone," then Virginia is rowing the same boat.  Haven't played good teams....EVERYTHING about their #5 ranking is based upon the team they had last year.

A little different in my opinion. Virginia before tonight has 2 Ken Pom top 65 (64 and 65)wins away from home plus another top 88 win at home. Definitely not a killer schedule but way better then what IU had played up until this point

Kenpom in December is worthless. Using random numbers like Top 88 is just silly.

This has to be one of the worst Bennett teams ever. Absolutely zero scorers.

They lost Brandon Key to injury, who was probably the best they had at creating a shot.

Kind of like worrying about a non conference strength of schedule 7 games into a season. Using that is just silly. Of course using December numbers is worthless but that’s the point of projecting the field. Take away the Ken Pom numbers. Their top 3 wins were at Cuse, neutral court against Arizona St and home against Vermont. IU’s best win are La Tech, Princeton and South Dakota St at Home

Someone compared the 2 schedules I provided a little more info

Couple of interesting items for Saturday watching Wisconsin: 1) they’re allowing a lot of dribble penetration to NC St. And not just to Markell Johnson, all of State’s guards are getting to the rim easily. 2) They really have no physical matchup for Jericole  Hellems. If I’m Archie watching Davison trying to deal with Hellems I’m looking to scheme as many touches for Smith in the midpost as I can.

Bucky looks bad and we have a chance Saturday. As I said not impressed with Gard and as they slip further away from Ryan I think we beat them a lot more regularly now.

On the other hand OSU looks good and PSU better and if OSU holds on Big Ten wins challenge. OSU could win Big Ten this year.
