An assistant coach went to an AAU event to watch a different player in the higher level AAU league. Kid ended up not playing. That coach didn’t want to waste a trip so he went into one of the side gyms where the lower level leagues were playing. Morant was destroying everyone. After game he called the head coach and told him to drop everything and watch him. Offered him after he watched him. Ford Center in Evansville packed for a Ohio Valley championship in a Missouri Valley team arena. Impressive Racers fan base made the trip.
