MadAboutIndiana Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 The whole Appling/Payne incident being swept under the rug is pretty crazy. That's how you end up with a loaded automatic. My goodness. Maryland at G'Town - Bleeding the well dry Wisconsin at Creighton - That may be interseting NW at Butler - Should be Butler's Providence at Ohio St - The Friars might try to sneak Dunn back in Rutgers at DePaul - Loser gets relegated to the MAAC or Summit League Seton Hall at Iowa - If Jok doesn't come back...good luck. St John's at Minnesota - Ugh, part two. Napleshoosier, IUsafety and WayneFleekHoosier 3 Quote

St John's at Minnesota - Ugh, part two. There are some really underwhelming games in this "tipoff" series. St. John's should be improved with a few decent transfers but on the road. Not a marquee game. Seton Hall at Iowa could be a decent game if Whitehead returns (did he hire an agent?) and Jok return. Iowa will be super young. Could be a decent game. Rutgers at DePaul is an absolutely horrible matchup that should be played in a closed gym without recording devices. They should both be delegated to DIII. Providence landed a few good transfers and playing at O$U should've a decent game. NW at Butler could also be a decent game and could help to boost NW's noncon SOS. Decent game. Hope McIntosh doesn't get upset if he's booed. Wisconsin at Creighton should be a decent matchup too. Wisconsin should contend for the B1G championship next season and @Creighton could be a good early season test. Maryland at G'town was a good game last season but might be a matchup of evenly talented teams this upcoming season. They should change it up though. Nova at puke should be a decent test for Nova but I think puke is going to take a rather large step back next season. They'll probably finish in the bottom half of the B1G. I wish they would play more of these games and gave less terrible matchups. I guess it gives BTN some games to show in the noncon. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners LIHoosier 1 Quote

Class of '66 Old Fart Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 Apparently some of the Illinois players have been serving as mentors during the off-season: Minnesota center Reggie Lynch was arrested on probable cause of criminal sexual conduct. He's suspended indefinitely, per team release. Quote
