Miller'sTheMan Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 I know i'm late on this, but how did Purdue a team with bigs that apparently no one can stop, get beat by Butler who virtually has no true big men? ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote

Not to mention that Butler's leading scorer, Kellen Dunham, was held to 2 pts. Butler was simply better prepared and didn't back down from Hammons and Haas. The Dawgs had 15 offensive rebounds and limited PUke to 12 offensive rebounds despite the huge size differential. Butler also forced 18 turnovers and committed only 8. A really great win for my second favorite team. Quote

God, that's difficult.its not easy I lost my dad in 2009 he was 63 and I just turned 31 and then lost my mom at the age of 63 in 2012. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy coonhounds 1 Quote

I have a lot of respect for Butler as a program, lose one great coach and seemingly have replaced him with another one. They really took Purdue's height advantage out of the game for the most part which was really impressive. IUsafety, 8bucks and coonhounds 3 Quote

Class of '66 Old Fart Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 Samford was down against Nebraska 30 - 26 at halftime. With 6 min. gone in the 2nd half, Samford now up 47 - 36. Quote

I think this year's group is literally a game by game basis. GloryDays 1 Quote

HoosierCoop Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 After the IU game, we "bootlegged" 4 seats 11 rows behind the Butler bench. Haas, Swanigan, and Hammons will kill us. Haas is an absolute giant. Butler played as hard as they possibly could and squeaked out the win. Our guards are much better than Purdue, but we will definitely live and die by the three for that one. They blocked and challenged everything that Butler took down low. I am glad we play at IU this year. It will take our Maryland game from last year to win. Quote
