There was another one about a minute before that where they gave Iowa the ball even though it was pretty obviously off Iowa even in real time. It was overturned after review. 

 

I wonder if anyone had ever rushed the court after beating Nebraska.

Not to mention the refs watching the NB player get tackled, earlier in the possession, but no call.  The refs should be suspended but we know the BT will just shrug.

The one where it was a loose ball to the sideline that Nebraska very clearly threw off the Iowa player's leg? Because that was painfully obvious and with the official only a few feet away. So obvious in fact that Nebraska had no choice other than to use their last challenge which could have been really useful in the remaining minutes. That sequence was a bit of a red flag if you ask me.

A lot of ranked teams fell. I fell asleep watching Iowa beat Nebraska, nc state beat the brakes off of UNC, Ohio state beat Wisconsin…crazy night

The crazy things to me about Cronin ejecting his own player are that:

1. The 'flagrant foul' wasn't really flagrant at at all; it was a backup big chasing down a play and getting mostly ball from behind.

 

 

2. Cronin's primary postgame gripe (besides his "Are you talkin' to me?!?" silliness to a reporter)  is that his team isn't nearly physical enough. So he puts in a backup in a blowout, the kid chases a turnover really hard and gets to the run out, and Cronin humiliates the kid in front of 15,000 people. 

3. The kid he 'ejected' is a former MSU student ... not basketball player; a student. He tried to be an MSU student manager or walk-on before transferring out of state. So he probably had many friends at the game. Unless that Jamerson kid is already a pariah, that move by Cronin will completely lose that locker room. UCLA now falling towards the bubble and Cronin should be ashamed of himself.

UCLA getting very much on the wrong side of the bubble. 17-9 with only won Q1 win (against Purdump) and one Q2 win; their second best win is at Washington. No bad losses. Gonna be the underdog in almost every game from here on out.

Kentucky also getting a tiny bit bubbly! Multiple good wins has them currently safely in, but they are 17-9 and will be an underdog in four of their remaining five conference games. If they only win the game they're favored in, they are 18-13 going into the SEC tournament.

Can you imagine Cronin at IU? That would’ve lasted all of about 15 minutes. And some of the dorks on our beat would’ve been eaten alive in that short period time.

I think this week has been a good indication of what a roster needs to look like to be a final four contender. We got to see Illinois up close and then Michigan is just a class above everyone else in the conference. I think both are threats to win it all. Michigan vs Duke is going to be must watch tv. 
 

Both Michigan and Illinois have size, skill, and don’t lack athleticism. And it’s across the board in their starting lineup. 
 

You can have a skilled roster with size, like Purdue, and be a second weekend caliber team but have a ceiling.

Amazing that Cronin is such a basket case. I don't really care how he treats the media, but how he treated his own player at Michigan State is nuts. That guy sucks out loud.
