He just said that in the middle of one of his tangents, not sure to what specifically. That's just the single worst phrase in the english language and I firmly believe saying it should be a federal offence.

deservedly so? Who else to blame? The players? Who recruited the players? Who disciplines the players? Who disrespects media members?

I have wanted him to succeed and IU to succeed. Now I don't care how he does, I just want IU to succeed.

I will however be fair to the man because he has a lot of good attributes. I can't thank him enough for The Zeller, Wat, Vic years but sound coaches and programs don't have these hiccups without expecting change.

I just read the partial transcripts on Twitter. Obviously, I'm not at the pressed but it sounds likes he has a little fire and anger coming out. I like this side to him. He himself admitted that he may be too lenient. Now that all this has come out, it is so easy to see why this team has under-performed. I do put a lot of the responsibility on Crean as the head coach but our players, at least some of them don't have the integrity to hold themselves to a higher standard. Perhaps we would be easier on Crean if he extended the suspensions or perhaps even kicked someone off the team for such violations. My personal opinion is that I back Crean a little more this year and hope to Jesus that the players now respond to a higher calling now that the dirty laundry is hanging out for all to see. Crean may not survive this year if IU does not make it to the tournament, and I am fine with that but I hope the players respond and finally find a sense of responsibility concentrate on some basketball.

we generally have 2 but with the Canada trip I think it was at 1 for a while. 2nd one added much later.
