HoosierAloha Posted August 24, 2020 Posted August 24, 2020 Mitchell and Murray both, Trae, along with this years draft class Zion/Ja/etc. League is in good hands from a talent perspective.Tatum and a Brown, too. I think Simmons and Embid are good players but I put them in the Chris Paul and James Harden category of not having what it takes to be the top dogs on a contender. Brass Cannon Posted August 25, 2020 Posted August 25, 2020 Wow how many coaches have gotten extended just before getting swept by a lower seeded team? Has that ever happened before? Quote
HoosierRobbie Posted August 25, 2020 Posted August 25, 2020 Have no idea why McMillan was extended, I get there’s no Sabonis, but getting swept 2 years in a row in the first round is just unacceptable.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Quote
TheWatShot Posted August 25, 2020 Posted August 25, 2020 He probably gets a pass because of the injuries to Oladipo and Sabonis, but the optics still don't look good. I think there's a very good chance the Pacers have a different coach at this time next year. Quote
KingPG21 Posted August 25, 2020 Posted August 25, 2020 Before Nate the Pacers had been swept 3 times in the previous 23 years. For those playing at home, Nate is now 3-16 with the Pacers, and all 3 wins came in the same series thebigweave and Loaded Chicken Sandwich 2 Quote
Stuhoo Posted August 26, 2020 Posted August 26, 2020 Michael Porter jr’s lack of defense might just put Utah through to the next round. And dang...Jamal Murray. Quote
Stuhoo Posted August 26, 2020 Posted August 26, 2020 Why Quinn Snyder didn’t run a double at Murray—force him to give up the ball? I have no idea. Quote

Heck he's only made it out of the first round once in his coach I ng career. But I fully believe the Pacers are fine with just this. Being just good enough to make the playoffs because they know that a ton of fans will let being mediocre pass. Quote
