Hoosierfan2017 Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 Humbling Dan Dakich might be Lebron's greatest achievement ever. Quote

Lol no the refs might drag them there like last year but this team is not the best team by a good margin. Quote

Crimson and Cream Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 Blow it up. PG won't sign the extension so you have to trade him. Fire Nate. If I'm Bird I'm dipping too. Just start building a team for the post-LeBron era. hoosierbannerd 1 Quote

We've seen what Vogel does with teams with no defensive talent. He isn't able to get them to overachieve. I still don't get the Vogel love from some of the Pacers fans Crimson and Cream 1 Quote
KingPG21 Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 So yeah, fire Nate. Bird step down, pretty clear you don't have a clue how to construct a roster in the vision you have in your head Quote
KB0 Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 Feel bad for PG. Pacers have to trade him this offseason. He's not going to resign. Pray Hayward doesn't make an All-NBA team and throw money at him. Fire Nate and Bird. Hire someone competent. I liked Vogel more than some, but this is just a poorly constructed roster. Not sure he could do a whole lot better with what the Pacers have now. There's a lot that needs to be done with this roster. I don't trust management to get it done or the coach to bring them together. Quote

They don't need that Lebron to come out of the East, but they need that Lebron to win it all.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Hoosierfan2017 1 Quote
Dalton26 Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 I know you're all pretty much Pacer fans but I don't get the PG love. The guy is a good player but he's no where near elite or a cornerstone of the franchise type player. Trade him and build around Myles turner or something because PG will never be able to lead a team to a title. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Quote

Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners How many elite/cornerstone players exist in the NBA? PG is a top-12 player. There's 30 teams. He's the best the Pacers are going to get. If winning a title is the only end goal, most teams will never reach that goal. I agree it's definitely important. I want the Pacers to win a title as much as the next person, but it's also important be realistic. The likelihood of coming out of the East while LeBron around is slim. Quote

Also, chances are he'll never be as good as PG currently is in the NBA, people talk about PG being more of a number 2 guy, Myles is way more of that Quote
HooHooHoo22 Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 I think PG is a great players but he doesn't have that killer instinct. I think he's a tier 2 guy. He would be the best sidekick in the league. He's good enough to get you within 1 point but that's about it. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Dalton26 1 Quote
