Chips&Dipo Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 I wonder if the Cavs will be smart enough to get rid of Love. He averaged 8.5 points and 6.8 rebounds in the finals. It is beyond obvious he doesn't belong. He is extremely overpaid. He is extremely overrated. He scored 51 points. He grabbed 41 rebounds. 27 of those rebounds were in 2 games. He scored in double figures twice. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BtownBanners mobile app Played good defense and shut down curry on switches numerous times. On one hand, they could probably replace him with someone better suited for a reduced role, but his value is also at an all-time low. The return the Cavs would get this summer wouldn't be great. They might need to think about keeping him to start next year and hope he comes out of the gate strong, and then swing a deal sometime between December and the trade deadline. The risk there though is obviously messing with team chemistry midseason. It's an interesting situation. JaybobHoosier 1 Quote

Or maybe they could package it for a rotation player and move back a few spots. I was hoping they'd go after Malik Beasley before the Teague trade. Now, it's almost certainly a big. Quote

Malik Beasley is a SG so they still could. I'd like to see them trade Ellis for another pick. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BtownBanners mobile app Quote
KingPG21 Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 Kind of hope we throw a good amount of money at Bazemore. We need shooting and he hasn't been that bad Quote

KingPG21 Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 So the Pacers signed Al Jefferson. I guess whatever, better not take reps from Turner, I'll be selling pitchforks if that happens mdn82 and ThompsonHoosier 2 Quote

I assume he's supposed to providing scoring off the bench? Doesn't really fit style-wise. Quote

I'm thinking Teague, Ellis, George, Young and Turner. But should be huge help off the bench if anything. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BtownBanners mobile app Quote
Dalton26 Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 There's almost no chance he signed with the Pacers to not start. Quote
