That's a helluva core if they can all stay healthy. I have no doubts that they will adjust to play together.

LeBron isn't normally a supporting cast member, so I wonder how much of a back seat will he take?

He was fine being #2 to Luka in LA. IMO he recognizes he is 41 and his career is winding down. He's reportedly said he wants to play for another championship and at this stage that means being part of the supporting cast. I know early in this process Rich Paul said on a podcast that Jalen Brunson would have to give his blessing for LeBron to engage the Knicks seriously. Philly makes perfect sense to me since he can basically take it easy during the regular season knowing Maxey and Brown will comfortably get them into the playoffs.

Doubt there’s anyone more anxious for much of anything than Adam Silver is for Pablo Torre to die. That dude is a dog with a bone on this thing and God love his heart for it. There aren’t enough of them anymore. The League has to do something meaningful here,

Seems they have season passes and monthly passes and it's not PPV like their boxing stuff.

$59.99 for the season if you buy before Oct. 15th. $119.99 after that. Honestly not the worst deal, despite me having them in my TV package for as long as I can remember.

not sure how i feel about this.  It was mostly well written.  It was honest.  It was an awesome view into his world and the aging athletes's world as a whole.  Its probably true he can offer something to a club for a limited time.  But the reality is the reality.  Teams are growing for the future.  That doesn't leave him much option.  Its sad that injuries curtailed his career the way they did.  He's a Hoosier great, and always will be.  I think he's a special individual too.  He will hopefully find his way and do as others have done and get a job to help the next generation of basketball players in college or the NBA.

I’m sure he’ll land on his feet either way, relentless hard working player. He did workouts already, he’ll either get picked up or not in all likelihood based on those, the letter is his own reach out and it’s well said, but the teams will decide on what he’s shown and showing. He did play well and healthy in the D L

I know how I feel about this:

It is a bad idea and it could turn off some teams that might potentially otherwise be interested.

NBA teams want to win and they are looking to find players that can contribute. If that is VO then between his resume, his agents, and his healthy time last season in the G League he was already on their radar. What they don’t want is a role player that writes pleading public letters.
