Demo Posted June 23, 2025 Posted June 23, 2025 My college coach used to describe dudes that were just tough as hell as being “all balls.” The Pacers are all balls. southsidehoosier, thebigweave and MemphisHoosier 3 Quote
Brass Cannon Posted June 23, 2025 Posted June 23, 2025 Refs have swallowed their whistles again. The thunder will be allowed to do whatever it takes to take the ball. This is just garbage it’s not even basketball at this point thebigweave and hoopsta007 2 Quote
Hovadipo Posted June 23, 2025 Author Posted June 23, 2025 Complain about the refs all you want but if the Pacers aren’t going to get them off the boards and keep handing them fast breaks, calls won’t matter. BtownStrength and pappy1865 2 Quote
Brass Cannon Posted June 23, 2025 Posted June 23, 2025 It’s ok for the refs to cheat because the pacers aren’t perfect is certainly a take. Hovadipo, HoosierHoopster, BtownStrength and 3 others 2 4 Quote
RaceToTheTop Posted June 23, 2025 Posted June 23, 2025 Turning away from the game. Been quite a few Pacer comebacks in the playoffs when I've changed channels. Quote

As someone who has no rooting interest in who wins this game or series, but loves the NBA playoffs… The referees are really good and have been all series. Pretty much no one is making an issue about the quality of refereeing in this series. RaceToTheTop 1 Quote

Dave from Dayton Posted June 23, 2025 Posted June 23, 2025 Can the Pacer's hit a three? Or is that... Never mind. Quote

They’re not, but the inference seems to be they should give up since the “refs are cheating” (???) instead of controlling the controllables, like rebounding and taking care of the ball. Not what I said…. I would greatly enjoy the NBA being actual basketball though. The simple fact is the NBA didn’t have the refs helping the thunder all year to let them win now. They were always going to let do whatever it took on defense Quote
BtownStrength Posted June 23, 2025 Posted June 23, 2025 Pacers just can't generate enough offense without Hali. Would have been tough even with him but near impossible without him. Dave from Dayton and thebigweave 2 Quote
