Great news for the Eisbären Bremerhaven and their fans: Playmaker Jordan Hulls will continue to play for the northernmost easyCredit Basketball Bundesliga. The 27-year-old Point Guard from Bloomington, Indiana, has now extended his contract with the polar bears for a year.

Jordan Hulls has developed into an absolute leader in his first polar bear season. On average 13.2 points, 4.1 assists, 1.2 steals and 2.7 rebounds, Hulls has contributed to 31 games for the Bremerhaveners. Thus, after Quincy Diggs (13.3 points), he was the second-best competitor in the team of the maritime team and at the same time the best passport. In addition, thanks to his unbelievable hit rate - Hulls drove a strong 51.3 percent of his attempts from "the city" and scores more than 94 percent of his draws, the US has quickly gained the reputation of being one of the league's best.

JH: This is a tough question… lots of qualities I’d like from a variety of people. But here’s what I’d take:

• My shooting and leadership
• Cody Zeller’s height and IQ
• Victor Oladipo’s defense and work ethic
• Will Sheehey’s athletic ability/conditioning and toughness
• Christian Watford’s face-up game and beard
• Yogi Ferrell’s shiftiness/handles
• Tijan Jobe’s strength

That would make for a pretty dominant presence I’d like to think.

@PITourney: Jordan Hulls (2013 PIT, Indiana) of Bremerhaven (Germany) put on shooting exhibition in last game, hitting 5-of-5 from 3-point range en route to scoring 18 points vs. Jena. He also added 6 assists. He's made 45-of-79 3-pt attempts this year for amazing 57% on 3-pt shots!

Jordan Hulls (2013 PIT, Indiana) scored 23 points (7-10 3-pt) for Bremerhaven (Germany) in an 89-82 loss to Ratiopharm Ulm. Hulls is shooting a remarkable 51.6% from 3-point range this season. He's also made 81 of 83 free throws (97.6%) this season!

The Basketball Bundesliga League in Germany is hoping to resume play under special circumstances — playing without spectators in one location. 10 teams have decided to continue, but s. Oliver Würzburg, who former #iubb star Jordan Hulls plays for, is 1 of 7 teams that will not.

Jordan Hulls inks new contract in Germany for 2020-21 season

Another former Indiana Hoosier has signed to play the 2020-21 season overseas.

Announced on Monday, Jordan Hulls signed with MHP RIESEN Ludwigsburg for the upcoming season. Hulls, who played in Germany the last five seasons, will be in his first season for Ludwigsburg. Ludwigsburg is currently in the Basketball Bundesliga, the first tier league in Germany.

The former Hoosier is coming off one of his best stints as a pro, averaging 14.8 points, 3.1 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game in the Europe Cup, leading s.Oliver Wurzburg to a runner-up finish. Hulls fell just short of the 50-40-90 club, finishing with percentages of 52.5 from the field, 49.0 from three, and 84.0 from the free-throw line. He also won MVP honors in the event for his performance.

Ludwigsburg has finished in the top-3 of the Bundesliga on three different occasions, including a second place finish last season. They have also advanced to the Round of 16 in the German Cup each of the last two years.

Hulls played in 135 games (121 starts) for Indiana from 2009-13 and averaged 9.8 points, 2.7 assists and shot 44.2 percent from three for his career.

The 2009 Indiana Mr. Basketball winner has spent his entire professional career overseas playing for five teams and has won two championships in his time in Europe. He has a career average of 11.9 points on 47 percent shooting from three and 3.2 assists per game.
