JaybobHoosier Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Let's get back on topic guys and quit the back and forth. Some love coach, some like coach, some don't like him, and some can't stand him at all. We all have different opinions, but treat everyone with respect. I haven't been on the past few days because of traveling, so message me any problems you have, and we will work through them together. I will be honest with you, so don't get offended if I don't sugarcoat anything. Being a mod/admin is difficult, because you are trying to make everyone happy, but do what's best. Get a long, or Jaybob will not be so nice :)Sent from my DROID4 using BtownBanners mobile app KeithIUGrad89 1 Quote
BubbleKnuts Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 I love that last bit of the Temple video. Two of college basketballs all time best coaches embracing. Chaney and Knight. Man, times have changed..

Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Happydaze 1 Quote
jayben00 Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Calbert was offered the asst job here at IU though right? Thought I recall Crean saying Cal decided against it because he did not think he was ready or something. Then the next year he takes a job the same job he turned down here. Yeah he knows Crews but he knows IU and this area better and moving a family to a new area is not as easy as staying. I have no idea if there are issues but it is not hard to make assumptions about why Cal chose not to be an asst here but shortly after he chose to be an asst elsewhere. LazOffTheBench Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 I'm saddened that this is going on during A.J.'s big weekend. How nice it would be if the focus could be on him, a great Hoosier. ALASKA HOOSIER, WayneFleekHoosier, JaybobHoosier and 4 others 7 Quote

Alford Bailey Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 CLASS!!! They don't make'em like that anymore. Guys like Yogi, Stan, Hollowell, etc. could learn a lot from Mr Guyton. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using BtownBanners mobile app Agree. A.J. kept his mouth shut and just played the game as hard as he could go improving all the time. We need guys like him and Calbert ect. around the program. Quote
