(2015) C Stephen Zimmerman to UNLV

Recommended Posts

I have more info here. UNLV is the HOME school. It is not an Official visit. It is multiple unofficial visits. They are the 6th school, we are the 7th. No mention of visiting IU.

They didn't want to piss off the HOME school since they weren't listed on the official visit list. I don't think we play into this at all.
"Honestly the feedback that coach Crean gave Stephen this weekend from watching him kept him in the Elite 8," Zimmerman's Mom said. "Other coaches may have told him he had good games but Stephen knew he didn't play as well as he would have liked. Coach Crean gave Stephen real feedback on what he saw and how Stephen got away from playing the game his way, the way that has gotten him to where he is."

Basically only reason we weren't cut was his real comments. So they kept Indiana for sympathy like I said.
Is there an emoticon to toot your own horn?

IU left out in the cold again?

ESPN’s No. 6 player in the 2015 class – has set six of his seven in-home visits with Indiana still to be set.

The Zimmermans will host UNLV on Stephen’s birthday, Sept. 9th, Arizona the next night on the 10th, North Carolina on the 11th, Kentucky on either the 13th or the 14th, Kansas the 15th and UCLA on Sept. 6th.

In April, Zimmerman trimmed his list to eight schools, Kansas, UNLV, North Carolina, Indiana, Louisville, Kentucky, UCLA and Arizona, later dropping Louisville after the Cards received a commitment from Ray Spalding.

The 7-foot Bishop Gorman/Oakland Soldier center has scheduled all five of his official visits starting with North Carolina on Oct. 3, Kansas on Oct.  10 for ‘Late Night in the Phog,’ Kentucky on Oct. 17 for ‘Big Blue Madness,’ UCLA on Oct. 24 and Arizona on Nov. 7.
