Unless there's an awfully lot of contact, etc., going on behind the scenes, it just doesn't appear that we're that high on Eron or that he's that high on us despite having us in his foursome.

Its not either really its just we would rather have Brown and Alkins and we really don't need to be giving out 5 scholarships to guards this year.

I just don't see this working out. We don't focus on him for so long, miss out on a few recruits and now we come crawling back to him. He is very high on three schools it seems so I don't see us even getting our foot in the door here. I would love to have him but it been such a roller coaster ride with his recruitment that I don't really see it happening

Eron Gordon is a kid that if he went to Butler or Purdue, would kill us and we'd be confused how we missed on him. Dude can score with the best of them and I'd be thrilled to have him.

My thing is I don't know how interested Eron actually is in IU. There have been hints from the beginning of his recruitment that he wanted to go somewhere else and make his own legacy. Eric played here, but under a different coach, Evan supposedly didn't have the greatest time here and was dogged by fans, and there have been a lot of fans dogging Eron throughout his high school career. 

I think he is a great player who can score at will. If he hadn't had missed basically the entire year last year his ranking would be a lot higher. I would love for us to go all in on him and grab him because of his scoring ability.

Next man up----Eron was at Hysteria so there must be some IU interest.  He's not chopped liver. He's a 4-star scorer. If we have a chance---I would go all in and show him some love.  Let's complete the trifecta legacy of the Gordon family with IU!
