I want Gordon bad. If only because I have been recruiting him for years. How? By yelling that we loved him during quiet moments at home games while his brothers were playing so I thought he might be there. If he commits then I get like 25% of the credit.

I think he was gonna choose somewhere other than IU and it scared him. He's gonna visit here again and now it gives Crean time to evaluate whether or not he really wants Gordon.

Close to where I am. I think that he was considering choosing a school other than IU, but rather than do that without visiting the
out of state school in person, he's decided to take an airplane trip before he makes a final decision.

I am so very confused by the sudden change of heart.  Is there something murky going on?  Like Yogi Berra is supposed to have said, it's deja vu all over again just like when Eric announced and then unannounced for Illinois.  Only difference is that Eron had yet to announce but some school surely must have had an extremely high expectation that it was the chosen one.

Crean deserves any heat he gets if he can't land a player who A ) is right in his backyard, and B ) has two older brothers who both played here. Also, aren't the Gordons season ticket holders?


Given those circumstances, losing him to Nevada would be monumentally embarrassing, no matter how much some of the apologists try to spin it.

Difference is Zeke choose a championship caliber coach and program over his family's program, not a program like Nevada.

See I'm not confused by this. I was confused yesterday because he was so far from doing his research on schools who were actually even recruiting him. I can't imagine the Gordon's were behind his announcement Saturday unless it were IU, and not because they're pushing him there, but because they saw what happened with their oldest.

Alex Kline tweeted that Nevada has picked up a commitment from PG Devearl Ramsey.   Gordon is classified as a SG, but does this announcement possibly suggest Nevada isn't as interested in Gordon or vice versa?
