Class of '66 Old Fart Posted September 20 Posted September 20 FRIDAY NIGHT GAME. IU is an early 23.5 point favorite over Northwestern. ESPN FPI gives the Hoosiers an 89.5% chance to win. Fisch on the wireless Live Stats Napleshoosier, Pagoda and Home Jersey 3 Quote
Home Jersey Posted September 20 Posted September 20 They just stomped Colorado, not that that's saying a whole lot. Big Friday night game. Hope we play our best ball of the season so far. ALASKA HOOSIER, Napleshoosier, ronzo4IU and 1 other 4 Quote
Brass Cannon Posted September 20 Posted September 20 I have tickets. I’m not sure I’m going to be able to make it though. Which is a bummer Quote
Stuhoo Posted September 20 Posted September 20 Northwestern is a well-coached team that was good last year. They’re probably a little better this year. Buckle up, this could be a tough one. rayl456 and skhoosier2 2 Quote
Pagoda Posted September 20 Posted September 20 That spread is surprisingly large to me. It’s nice the markets are optimistic. Stuhoo 1 Quote

And Purdue put up 488 yards of offense on the road at UCLA. So, even the bottom of the BIG is more capable. JMHO Napleshoosier 1 Quote

Didn’t watch the game but guessing the elite WR was something they couldn’t stop. Quote
TTT Posted September 20 Posted September 20 The next four games will say just how vanilla IU played the first three games. Plus will the two players be cleared or not for the rest of the season? str8baller 1 Quote
Hovadipo Posted September 20 Posted September 20 23.5 is crazy. Not touching that with a 10 foot pole. Of course, knowing Cig’s IUFB we’ll bend them over our knee and give them The Fighting Illini Treatment. skhoosier2 and FWHoosier84 2 Quote
Hoosier987 Posted September 20 Posted September 20 NW is a very solid team. We need to be prepared but Colorado did move the ball on them…but also had 4 turnovers. Looks like it could be another long year for Coach Prime. Julian Lewis has not impressed to date. skhoosier2 1 Quote

I think the resort only gets football on ESPN. ronzo4IU 1 Quote

We’ll be favored by multiple touchdowns. That’s not to say we can’t slip up and have a close one, but the middle/bottom of the B1G hasn’t been all that competitive with other good teams. Quote

NW, and then Minnesota are significantly better than Rugters and Pur_ue (with no D). It feels like we could slip up against Rugters or Pur_ue and it still wouldn’t be a close one. Quote

At least. Quote

realTomCrean Posted September 20 Posted September 20 Taking my son to his first IU game on Friday. We will get there about 1.5 hours before kickoff. Any advice on pre-game activities kids enjoy? Also, will I need to buy a parking pass before the game or can you buy one in a lot like at IUBB games? Quote

I park in the garage in the Kelley graduate school. I’ve seen people pay when pulling in, so I assume you can buy a spot there. If you don’t mind a 10ish minute walk, it’s a good spot. Not terrible getting out either, and it’s nice having the Kelley school to use the restroom/hydrate. realTomCrean 1 Quote

For context folks of our Nine Big Ten opponents at home we have beaten Six by 3+ scores. Two by 2 Scores(One with a backup QB) and only 1 within a single score skhoosier2 1 Quote
