TrueHoosier62 Posted January 20 Posted January 20 I'm sure there's a logical reason for it, but in reviewing all the gear and merchandise that's come out in the last 12 hours, about 60% say Indiana Hoosiers, National Champions 2025. About 40% say 2026. Quote

Ponds was, as always, a freaking monster. I agree with that. I’d also point out that Fisher maybe didn’t have his best game but he was the consummate captain. Multiple times when there was confusion he was putting people in place, he made several big tackles in the hole, and the few times we brought pressure he picked his spots well and got into the backfield. That entire D was fun to watch. hoosierdogg 1 Quote

And by morning he meant 3AM. Quote

Pagoda Posted January 20 Posted January 20 Today I heard a lot of CFB media saying IU gives other teams hope that they can do it too. And that we're in some new age of CFB. I don't doubt that it does give other teams hope. And CFB is increasingly more of a level playing field with NIL as we all know. BUT. This is a lot harder than it looks, and our coach is awfully rare. Really rare. Probably only one. So while I could see a lot more new faces in the rankings around #10-25, making the playoff and winning playoff games is a whole other level that will still probably be dominated by the large programs. We'll see... Stuhoo, Home Jersey, go iu bb and 3 others 6 Quote

We'll see... Yeah this is definitely a rarity. But it’s not full blown Jim Carey in Dumb and Dumber either. I also think this was due to the unique transition into NIL that Cig took advantage of. I likened it to money ball. As everybody started doing it. Then it was harder to have success just from doing it. BannerVille 1 Quote
