  • I shall call him by his given name "Hanovii." Turbo sounds too much like a fish.
  • Two years eligibility is fantastic.
  • Turbo appears to be a very good receiver.
  • Became the primary back for a terrible BC team.
  • BC articles were very VERY sad that he went portalating.
  • Seems like an extremely squared-away young man. Kind of Riley Nowakowski-like in manner, which is about as high a compliment as there is:

Turbo Review - IGN Image

Turbo is a kick a$$ snail.  My son watched this along with Cars non stop for about 3 years when he was younger.  I bet "Turbo" Richards is just as fast.

Held a JMU offer out of HS, the staff is familiar. I consider the RB room filled.

See any reason for concern here regarding Martin? I realize there's room for 3 to be productive, as that is how this season started, but I wonder if Martin told the staff he plans to portal.

No reason that I know of.

More likely (though purely speculation) that Beebe is not progressing as hoped.

With the unknown issue with Beebe…T Richard being the new guy…I could see K Martin being the number one guy starting the season.  This knowing that the staff likes using multiple backs.  If money is the issue…well, that’s why Cignetti is getting paid to make those decisions.  Right?  JMHO.

I think the staff just likes having 3 dudes. Came in absolutely clutch this year. I like Khobie a lot, but a Hemby or Black and Martin room after Beebe went down would’ve been not ideal at all.

The RB addition is interesting to me.  But I also think Martin can be the Lead.  Haven’t dug into Turbo yet, but our staff has done some amazing transfer work so no reason for me to doubt anything.

All this said, Martin seems to have something extra.  Could see him having a huge year next year.

T Richard…5’8”…207lbs.  Highlights I saw referred to him as a power back.  Reminds me of K Black.
