Alot of the functionality of the old site won't work on this new version, so I'll need to spend some time finding replacement parts for them all. Well at least we can still post meaningful images! AZ Hoosier Posted Thursday at 02:00 AM Posted Thursday at 02:00 AM My biggest issue is finding new posts. The old version had a section at the top of new posts. Also, finding the first unread post in a thread seems incredibly difficult. Is there a trick to it or a shortcut of some kind? Hoosierfanyuh and WayneFleekHoosier 2 Quote

If you click on the time last posted under the user name (e.g. 7 minutes under AZ Hoosier), that should take you to the last post. AZ Hoosier 1 Quote

MASSIVE site upgrades should mean insanely improved performance. That being said, I'll continue to make the site feel more normal and correct colors and what not, I figured getting the site live was priority #1. The rest you guys will be okay with hopefully! You da man 41! Came in and saved the site like Coach Cignetti did to our football program. IU Hoosier41, OliviaPope40 and FortWayneHoosier 3 Quote

(If this is what you are referring to) You can just click on the last page to get there. Has the 5 latest topics that have been commented on. I believe the last one had 10, so hopefully there is a way to increase that number. AZ Hoosier and Home Jersey 2 Quote
Stuhoo Posted Thursday at 02:47 AM Author Posted Thursday at 02:47 AM This thread currently reads like me when I am gifted some new Bluetooth operated tech-ey automatic timer/dog washer/ice cream making/smoke detector. “How da hell do I configure this thing so that it doesn’t monitor my cortex?” thebigweave, IU Hoosier41, AZ Hoosier and 1 other 2 2 Quote

I think that's the key, the list of topics/threads with new posts make this site very easy to use. Getting the topics with new posts list from five to 10 or 15 would ideal imo. In order to fit or condense more topics in that space, one line of the topic detail could be dropped (don't need who started the thread, when, and what forum, I don't think the old site had that detail). Anyways, I'm not complaining, just supporting this suggestion. I get this site needed some rebuilding and I'm thankful to IU41 and others who make it happen. That said, if it's possible to increase the list of topics with recent posts from five to 10 or 15, that would be great. ;-) WayneFleekHoosier 1 Quote
68Hoosier Posted Thursday at 01:13 PM Posted Thursday at 01:13 PM Do you guys know how hard this is on an old guy like me? Now I have to re-learn the site. Will set me back at least a week or more. Great job to those involved. Just glad we are back up and running. Home Jersey and Stuhoo 1 1 Quote
