That, my friend, is a distinction without a difference. According to Cig, both suck.

Day's bush league stunt - scoring with 35 seconds remaining when they were up 31-15 in 2024 - proves to me that he's scum. Change my mind. I double-dog-dare ya.

Absolutely correct....and then he had the nerve to say after beating Michigan this season that they want to be humble in victory, because their program is class!

This is funny as hell. Fernando’s immediate reaction to the press conference question,

“Fernando, have you thought about all of the girls who are going to be so excited about you?”

*No comment and no I didn't hand a reporter the question*

Loved watching all of the interviews/clips/interactions I could find over the last month with all of the Heismandoza finalists.  Aside from the on-field play, I can’t express enough how proud we should be that “HE” is “OUR” guy.  What an amazing, humble, thoughtful young man.

Yep it’s going to be great to keep him around the program and hopefully standing on that stage supporting more Hoosiers in the future

Echoing everyone here...  What an incredibly well deserved award.  People get so obsessed with on field stuff, and I know the TV show goes overboard telling the back story and making these kids look as good as they can.  Needless to say, Fernando Mendoza just knocked it out of the park and is easily the most significant Indiana University athlete in the last several decades. And he was only here for a single season.  Wow.  He is the embodiment of what a real "award" should be.

But...  Can we have a conversation about "humility" being used to describe Diego Pavia?   Or that he dressed like a drug dealer?  Or that his mom was given TV time (if anyone knows HER back story, you know how comical that is)  Or that Jeremiah Love wore high top athletic shoes?  Or that Julian Sayin doesn't know how to tie or wear a tie?   Or that Diego Pavia DRESSED LIKE A DRUG DEALER???

lol.  Or that Ryan day was already laying the foundation for the excuses when they lose in the playoffs.

And if memory serves, they had lined up in the victory formation ...

If you want to line up and try to run plays like normal although the game is in hand, that's fine. Just let us know and we'll try to stop you. But to line up in victory formation, then run a play ... that was bush league and really chapped my a$$. Because at that point, everyone is just trying to bring the game to an end with nobody getting hurt.

Yeah. Like I said, BUSH LEAGUE.
