My $.02 is many of our fans are just too jaundiced from the Archie and Woody eras coupled with a whole new coaching staff and players.  No carryover familiarity effect.  Just gonna take some time to get people really enthused about IUBB again.

They’re getting a lesson in how far they’ve run the brand into the ground. There was a time when IU basketball could draw plenty of fans even head to head with the NFL/college football. Even for throwaway games. Not anymore.  
 

With that said, ticket prices for IU/ Lville still seem solid. Of course Lville drives half that demand.

For as much credit as Dolson deserves for targeting and keeping Cignetti, he's done a poor job with Woodson and building excitement with Devries and this roster.  Our basketball program is damn near dead, we really need a big year

To defend Scott a bit, he wanted to do something after year three of Woody but his hands were tied by Woody’s pals.  Once Scott had the political capital from a year of Cig he sh1tcanned Woody midseason right in Quinn’s face.  I was impressed.

If IUBB is decent the fan support will be good imo.

He’s got potential. Him and Wilkerson are gonna have a little learning curve with the athleticism. He’s been beat to the rim twice. Tucker probably had the worst defensive possession of the group, though.

Our roster is just bad. Not athletic at all.  Been saying this for Months. It started with Enright. Unless we make 3’s we won’t be Fran level Iowa good either.  Could be a really rough year

Defense is brutal. Offense has some potential.  Not getting a real center with defensive upside was a criminal coaching offense.
