Sure that sounds good and all, but what’s the buyou…… I just can’t.
Congrats to Cig. Incredibly well earned and we don’t have to listen to the noise anymore. Now go win a Natty, Dude.

Is the buyout even a thing any more? I mean, Penn State paid Franklin $49M to go away. That is insane. Almost as insane as paying Tom Allen $15M+ to go away. I'm honestly not sure any number really matters any more.

One difference between Allen and Franklin is that Allen’s parting deal was a one time payout that did not include a “claw back” if he gets another job.

Franklin is being paid over time and PSU owes him 49m less what he makes at another school. If Franklin signs a 5 year 25m deal, as an example, PSU will be off the hook for 25 million.  Would be kind of funny if Franklin took 100k a year just to F with PSU.

I'm sure that's not allowed per his contract.
