Yes. Expect Branham to be there too. We worked really hard to get the first visit apparently. Az wants him to be a 5 and bang down low. IU is recruiting the opposite of that. Apparently there’s a big gap between the first 3 visits to the last three because he’s going to eval the first 3 hard first.

Az is the perceived favorite right now, some question if he wasn’t from there if he’d even consider them.

this is all paraphrasing from peegs.

If Sherrell can be inside out like they want to do with Wabbington, he can actually see that it can work in Bloomington.

There's going to be some very highly sought after big that wants to play with Chase Branham. Point guards and bigs tend to like to see the potential of that pairing. Also this:

Yup, and any cut ups they show him of the offense or of Branham or Moody or Karvala are gonna be those guys cutting to the rim or making catch and shoot jumpers and just generally playing off ball because the best trait Wabbington has, by far, is his vision and facilitation, particularly from the high post. Obviously he’s not Jokic, but the way you construct offense with him is exactly the same. That’s what makes a UNC visit annoying because Malone can just show Nuggets cut ups and it would be an incredibly easy sell.

I was able to access the full interviews and he was clearly impressed with his visit and the plan our staff has for him at IU.  He also mentioned how it's been the entire staff he's had contact with during his recruitment and not just his primary recruiter and the head coach.  Eric Bossi put out a short blurb indicating he thinks Wabbington won't take any more visits after his Arizona visit at the end of this month that it's an Indiana/Arizona battle.  Unfortunately, Arizona has the home field advantage in this recruitment.

That’s always been the rub, getting an Arizona kid to leave Arizona, though it has happened. Would be a pretty hellacious get for the staff if they could make it happen, or a pretty hellacious overpay, depending on how you look at it. It’s a pretty smoking year in Az HS ball with Wabbington and Adan Diggs, 2 top 10 type kids.

Probably not notable but since tea leaf reading is always fun: The staff was in today to see Wabbington 4 days after his visit while Arizona was at Blair Academy to see top 50 C Kamsi Awaka, whose brother played at Zona the last 2 years. Curiously, their Arizona official visits are currently scheduled for the same weekend.

Additional tea leaf reading: Maybe Arizona has figured out that Darius does not want to be a traditional center and are selling him on Awaka at the 5 and Darius is the point forward. Lets hope not.
