I like that Dorn would have two years of eligibility left, but how's he fit with who we have currently?  Seems like the 1/2/3 positions are getting pretty full.

But hey if this works, mannnnn do we have a lot of three point shooting.

I assume Tucker is our 4 most of the game so Dorn, Wilkerson, Miles, and Drake all can split time at the 2 and 3

Dorn rumored to be visiting a SEC school and Gonzaga after he finishes up with us today. Apparently Gonzaga really wants him and wanted the last visit

Miles and Dorn apparently have similar skill sets and therefore I would assume that Miles will be an impediment to getting a commitment from Dorn. Players don't just want a bag of cash; they also want to envision the potential for a featured role.

I think it may be a positional thing more than skill set. I think Dorn is a much better catch and shoot guy and and could end up being a very good 3 and D guy for somebody down the line. His efficiency really takes a tumble once you make him put it on the floor as he did not shoot it well off the bounce last year. Miles appears to be more bouncy and a more natural three level scorer. Both could co-exist on the floor together but with Wilkerson and DeVries also out on the perimeter, minutes are limited. Miles as a natural 2 guard and Dorn as a 3 and D wing two years from now would get me excited but that's a tough sell in the present.

Would rather have Nick Dorn if we are taking another guard/wing. Two years of eligibility and not as ball dominant .

What about weekend visits? When are the bigs coming?

Dorm fits the Luke Goode position, especially if Goode doesn’t get a waiver

Very excited about this pick up. This seems to solidify we won’t have Goode back next year regardless of the waiver, which while disappointing for sentimental reasons… seems worth the trade off for two years of Dorn, who could develop into a very good 3 & D type player. #13 CG in the portal. 6’7 200.

We are going to have backcourt / perimeter play IU fans haven’t enjoyed in far too long. Kudos DDV and staff.
