Given that he can play on or off ball and is one of the best hand full of shooters in high school regardless of class would there is a better than decent chance that he makes that team.

Raby reported  Branham and his parents were in town yesterday.  Chase has an AAU event in Cincinnati this weekend.

That’s a nice article. Side note: the highly rated recruit he’s referencing is almost certainly Jordan Smith, who he played against at the Bass Tournament of Champions, and Branham gave that kid all he wanted.

Going to go out on a limb and say that this kid starts from day one and is an instant plus player for Indiana.

Can't wait to see this young man in Candy Stripes. Hopefully he's a great recruiter too. Would imagine there's 1 or 2 top 20-30 kids who would enjoy/benefit playing with Chase.

Since Branham is our only UAA offer, I'll post his last weekend's stats in his own thread rather than the AAU season thread.  His team is 7-1 through the first 2 sessions.

Did not see that coming, though if the goal is to be a McDAA playing at a smallish school outside Springfield, MO probably doesn’t make it happen.

Love It for us and Chase.  He won State with his Boys and hometown if I remember that correctly.  That helps the decision.

Honestly really surprised to see this.  The kid is right down the road from me and I know some folks at his school.  They were a really tight knit group and he was getting a lot of pressure to stay to graduation.  No doubt the best situation for Indiana and his development.

While historically it doesn’t seem like we’ve had a strong relationship with LaLu, Raby says current staff does have a good relationship specifically mentioning DDV.

Would imagine after U17 tryouts, Top 100 camp and Chris Paul’s PG camp basically back to back to back he just looked in the mirror and thought, “ I need this kind of work all the time.” LaLu has Devin Cleveland this year and he was supposedly a priority target for Dusty this class. That kid’s really good and they’ll make each other better.
