I know it's time to move on, but listening to Coach Devries it makes me so mad that IU didn't hire a competent coach (like him) in 2021. Have no clue how Coach Devries will do when it's all said and done, but you can tell he is a program builder and can win in the modern era.

I think WVU had a guard transfer in that had to sit out the whole year. Think his name is Jayden Stone? Never played a full season. Career 34% three point shooter. Wonder if he would join Devries at IU.

Lets be careful throwing out numbers like 25 wins.  We so easily set ourselves up for disappointment.  Lets see what he does in the portal and how things shake out over the next few months.  Definitely reason to be excited.  But he can have a successful first year and not get to 25 wins.

Exactly. Expectations should be for a good, solid season. And, more importantly, an improved culture. 

The players play hard. Recruiting starts to look better. Team plays smarter. 

The fans will know if progress is being made. A certain number of wins doesn't need to be attained. We just need to see a solid program getting stabilized.

Hysterics added Preston Murphy (at bama, was an assistant with CDD at Creighton I think) on their podcast today, would assume we won’t start doing serious portal damage until these are finalized

 

im intrigued by Barnett, young and apparently  has some great connections (NV transfer for starters) but seems like he’s trying to get the oral Robert’s job at the moment
