Classic IU Games Thread

Amidst the anger, pain, and suffering, I have found myself really diving into classic games via YouTube. Feel free to post your favorites of old.  Mods, feel free to move this to an appropriate landing spot.  I find nostalgia much more satisfying than our current state of basketball.  Hope you all enjoy!

LOVE this thread idea. Here's my (A Youngbuck's) personal favorite. This was my first ever game in Assembly Hall, as a senior in high school, sitting in the 3rd row across from the OSU bench. You can see how I got addicted.

Moye wow. Was on spring break in Orlando sitting in a hotel room of a family friend when watching this game.

2011-12 was one of the few really enjoyable seasons in the past 25 years or so.  We finally crawled out the rebuild that took three grueling years.  Watching the players that got their ***** beat for so long start winning was awesome.  Great team.

I'm 44.

For me its IU over Duke in 2002 as my #1 favorite game.

Watshot game is my #2.

Crean killing UNC at AH was a great game of nearly flawless execution.  The Win at NCState was big.  The Crean win vs Kansas was really nice.  I was enjoying the E Gordon games before that season went off the deep end.  

I am not sure Archie logged a single game that holds my memory in a favorable way.

For Woodson-It's the 2 Purdue wins.  Schifino....... and Big Shot Rob.  The one notre dame game was a fun game.  Closer than we'd like but exciting.  Michigan comeback in the BTT after a miserable half of basketball was memorable and probably gave us more time with Woodson than we needed.  

The Chaney/Henderson games, and there were many but I was young.  I remember them always being good but specific games don't stick out.

The 2002 team was the start of the IU journey for me I was 9 or 10 but there are some IU seasons after 2002 that I barely remember.

I was in attendance for the upset win over MSU at Assembly when they were #1.  I believe Kirk Haston hit a banked in 3 to win it?  I was inebriated, but that was a fun game!  a classic game, you might say.

A classic for me was Norfolk St game under Archie. Got there early was way up in the rafters. Usher came over and moved us down to right behind the basket. First time having really good seats. So a classic for me.

This was on espn classic or something at the bar i was having lunch at last week. I sat there and watched most of it. Really underrated game from the Crean era.  
 

Somebody earlier mentioned the 93 Michigan games. Ive watched those a couple times. Really great games from the last of the great Knight era.

Devonte going nuclear against a damn good FSU team is the only one that came to mind, and it probably only registered because I was in the gym.

Kirk swished it, I was in the balcony.

I watched this for the first time recently. Alford was incredible and kept us in the game the first half...dude needed no space to get his shot off.

My favorite names to watch is the 81 and 87 tournament runs. I have found every game in those years. I also like to watch the tournament  games in 92-93 us the games vs Michigan in those years. The game in 1980 vs OSU for the conference title is a great game

That missed dunk by Temple was something else. I'm sure Chaney chewed that guy's @$$ the entire flight back to Philly.

Notre Dame game has  to be up there.   The missed FT score and Gus losing his mind was awesome.   Robs shot against Butler
