JF87 Posted January 26 Posted January 26 I thought we played with good effort. The intensity seems to be there. Keep hoping "this is the game" that the players figure it out. Quote
Dave from Dayton Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Turnovers are even and low. IU has 8 assists to MD's 5. MD is outrebounding IU by 4. MD has 4 3s...IU 3. If IU plays slightly better defense and rebounds...IU wins. Napleshoosier and JF87 2 Quote
Hoosier987 Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Our guards are being outscored 20-2. Amazing that we can never find a consistent guard play that’s good. We’re consistently bad lol. WayneFleekHoosier, DChoosier and FloridaHoosierGirl 3 Quote
RaceToTheTop Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Difference right now has been free throws. IU 6/10, Maryland 6/7. Kanaan Carlyle can't even hit open fifteen foot shots with no one guarding him.....now 4 of 12 for the year. He shot 78% at Stanford. Home Jersey 1 Quote
cbp4iu Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Play better these next 20 minutes we win. Half-*** it lose by 12+ Quote

RaceToTheTop Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Tucker didn't play in the first half. Wasn't on injury report but obviously missed the last two games. Not sure if he would have helped at all since he hasn't been taught shooting 40% while taking fade away fifteen footers isn't efficient. But he's still a better offensive player than Carlyle and at least looks at the rim unlike Leal. That said, I'd take Carlyle and Leal over him on the other end of the court. Dave from Dayton 1 Quote

Papacap Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Whichever team starts to play well on defense wins this game. Both teams pretty much getting shots they want too easily. Quote

DChoosier Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Lappas summed it up. IU doesn’t have a three point threat (Goode is sitting) so it’s easy to double the bigs. As I posted earlier…We are so easy to guard. Quote
Stuhoo Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Terrible defense out of the gate—Good and very necessary immediate timeout! Quote
RaceToTheTop Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Leal can play....but he can't be on the court with two bigs. Period. That's three guys who aren't going to hurt you from the perimeter since Leal won't shoot. Quote
