Next year will be a real test. @ Oregon and @Penn St plus Illinois at home will be real challenges . Iowa on the road is never easy. We will have to earn it.

On paper we won’t have to worry about easy schedule complaints next year.

If you watched the pregame Saban basically told Cig to stop running his mouth if he wants to be successful.

I never played at that level to know what makes the bulletin board. But Saban brought it up.

What exactly did he say? I missed that.

Cig was saying what he learned to make himself successful. He basically said it was 50% his dad and 50% Saban then he listed off all the qualities from Saban that he thinks makes himself successful. And Saban jumped in at the end and said “I didn’t teach you to talk all that ****. I know that.” Cig blamed it on his mom.

He’s got a point as much as I love it. But if you talk, you got to walk and in the biggest game, he did not walk the talk.

Alright, time to breathe and think about it. But seriously, why did we call for fair catches on kickoffs from the ten yard line all game? Why did we run it up the middle the entire first half? And then why did we punt down in the 4th quarter?

Ugh. Just didn’t  look like a team that wanted to win tonight. Which hurts because I got so invested in this team this year.

I am avoiding Twitter (X) for a few days, but I know there has to be a Meme with a picture of Cignetti with the score to the game in large font, and coach Cig saying, "I lose, Goggle me!"

I still love the guy, I don't want him to change, and I am confident he will reload, IU football is in good hands!

I agree with all of that, especially the kickoff right before the end of the first half, even if you fumble it the half is over, why not try to break it? I also thought that we should have used tempo more, I realize ND was playing soft at the end, but I still think it would have worked earlier in the game. I mean if we don't give up that 98 yard run, which was really the only long run they had all night, this is a 3 point loss!

Freeman be mad.  Didn’t like Cig doing the on-side and getting a score.  Make no mistake, Cig talks, but Freeman is also an arrogant….

Exactly why WOULDN'T IU have attempted an onside kick in the last game of the season in a playoff game?
