Heads up for all College AD’s out there….. If you’re looking for a basketball cupcake game to schedule next year…. IU has to be in the top 5 for your consideration.

You can thank me for the tip later.

Sad but true.

Ok, I realize that some of this stuff has been said ad nausea. But damn, a SoCon team just came into Assembly Hall and played with us for 40 minutes and this is after we've had a week off. Was hoping so bad that we would come out, look sharp and take no prisoners but no it was opposite of that. It looks like some of these guys could care less if they play or not.
Here are the things that I see and I do not consider myself Phil Jackson. First and foremost, Lack of Leadership (there's nothing there). Our defense, we over help and switch everything so we're constantly out of position or in a scramble and it's god awful guys. Speaking of defense, 2 of our best offensive players are by far our worst defenders (MR-MM).
To the offensive side. I know there were only 10-11 turnovers today but damn we just do not value the basketball. Players don't cut with purpose. The screens they set are just lazy. Could probably thank mostly our coaching for this. We definitely do not play for one another which leads to a ton of bad shots.
One last thing. I know we won the rebound battle today but this is another thing we are awful at, IMO. Rebounding is mostly effort guys and I don't see effort. I see alot of low basketball IQ players and bad coaching. It's obvious that the Malik/Ballo experiment is NOT WORKING. However, our jackass of a head coach is too stubborn to change that. I mean it's not like this season is lost, ton of basketball left to play but these guys look like they could care less. And that's damn near everyone of them. We keep this up, we won't get in the B1G tourney much less the NCAA's
Well said.

Something else that bothered me today. I don’t know if this has already been brought up. Fish was going on in his pre game about how this was the first meeting of IU vs Chattanooga and what a rarity it was. If I’m not mistaken IU played the Mochs in the Crean/Yogi era in the NCAA tournament on March 17, 2016.

I love Fish but even he is making turn overs.

The whole damn thing is falling apart.

I don’t know how much more mediocrity I can take.

Fisch had the thrill of calling IUFB's 1st playoff game, the despair of IU losing it around midnight, traveling home, getting some sleep, then rolling into Assembly by probably 10am. In his 70's. I think he gets a pass today.

We also opened the season with Chattanooga in 2007-08.

All I could do was shake my head.

I've been shaking my head for going on FOUR YEARS now. The basketball program is a train wreck, and Woodson, the Parasite in Chief, has been leading the parade. Clueless. Embarrassing. Lazy. Incompetent.

Now, do you want to know what I really think?

Yes, yes I do.

On a lighter note, Fisch commented on Ballo’s new hairstyle, saying it looked like his head exploded.

Heard AH was pretty empty. True?  I know it was not a marquee opponent and students are gone but interesting if that was the case. I watched a little bit and could hear the cheerleading much more than I recall in other games

That was well said. I wonder though if yogisballin took into account how many humps we faced in the past and the future humps we have yet to face?

I’m humped out.

I started laughing as soon as he said it today. We all knew it was coming lol

I heard there were about 7k at the game. It’s getting bad. Hell the Crean years of playing walkons meaningful minutes was nowhere near this bad. I think we were still selling out. This program is laughable. That pains me to say. I can honestly say, it feels like a task to watch a game anymore.
