I truly appreciate your post it's just that I've become pretty jaded with these post-visit stories.

Bosnian guard Harun Zrno had an “outstanding” visit at                   during his first-ever trip to the United States. “[The] visit was outstanding,” the 6-foot-7, 205-pound Zrno told ZAGSBLOG after meeting with head coach                     and the staff.  “My first time in USA.                           is a school with lots of history and I was very impressed.  My role would be to come in and play right away because of my experience.  [The] coaching staff was amazing, they are a great group of people.  ”Asked what stood out on the visit, Zrno mentioned being in famed                     .   “That arena                     is playing at it stood out and [the] fans who are very passionate about the                       ,” he said.

do we feel confident we can land this kid?  I love the fact that we were both his "first" stop in the states(outside of flying here) and official visit.

Personally I'd rather be last.  By the time he finishes all his visits we'll just be a fleeting memory.  On the other hand, if Woody served his dad a truly remarkable vintage wine then that could work in our favor.   Oh crap, now I'm even starting to post Woody snark in other threads.

His dad wasn't on the visit. With him so there's no reason to worry about that lol

So if he should commit to IU, will he remain committed after we have a new coach on board?

I cannot under any circumstances imagine that he will commit to IU knowing that the current staff and corresponding offer are in serious flux.

Trilly saying IU.  I've been away from the boards too much since the start of basketball season lol

we do have a lot of money to offer(yay because this worked out so freaking well this season) and IU can give this kid a lot of exposure outside of just basketball at the same time compared to his other three potential choices IMO.

While he is committing to the university and not the coach, I would assume that if/when there's a coaching change his NIL deal and roster spot could be in serious jeopardy, even if not officially. Seems messy when the kid has other good options.

I don't disagree with that statement whatsoever.

the kid has to know there is a chance of a coaching change on the horizon, considering you've checked all of your boxes up to this point.

I suppose that like any other recruit, he can always re-open his recruitment upon a coaching change, or keep his commitment if the new coach wants him and he thinks it's still a good fit.

So ... I guess it's likely "welcome to IU Harun Zrno!" Haris Mujezinovich approves.
