Fully expect to see a 4-5 minute scoring drought in the second half where SHU goes nuts from deep and cuts the lead to around 10 or so.

We are so bad at closing halves out and so bad at closing games out. This is the dumbest 3 minutes of basketball I’ve watched

Tbh we’re bad at starting halves too… but the middle of the half… the middle we’re below average

Bako might be the most one dimensional player we’ve had since Romeo Langford. He only has interest in taking shots on the offensive end. Doesn’t even pretend.

What’d you expect when we nickel and dime him? Imagine what 2.5mil coulda got us!

I don’t mean this as a knock on the kid because I know academically he’s very capable. That said, I think he never really had very good basketball coaching growing up and his family was figuring out his journey on the fly. His little brother is much better situated at Oak Hill, where he will actually come to college prepared. Think he is still developing a feel for the game and slower to mentally process what’s happening on the court than he needs to be. Athletically, I’ve seen him do so much more than he shows here. He definitely looks for his shot first which I think he should, but boy is it frustrating watching him play at times. When he is hot he is our best scorer and it’s not particularly close IMO

But I thought we sucked in the middle of the first half because that's when Woodson goes with the all bench lineup...

I guess we've found ways to suck at all stages of games.
