The bye was based on them winning the ACC.  They were #6 in the CFP but top 4 conference champions automatically get seeded 1-4.  Right now Boise State would get a bye.

If IU plays like this the second half I can’t envision Miami staying ahead of them in the CFP.

I feel like Miami will fall to 11 or 12. That’s their second loss to a team with 3 losses. The committee will likely make it so the ACC gets a max of two teams. If Clemson beats SMU next week they bump Miami out. It shouldn’t affect IU.

I know it's ridiculously cold for this time of year, but the fans need to stay and bask in this. We probably aren't going 11-1 next year.
