I'm practicing for the big game.

Already broke the seal on some Ezra Brooks 99 (with a port wine cask for 6 months).  78% corn, 10% rye, and 12% malted barley.  Has a cinnamon spice hotness and caramel/chocolate sweetness and oak...very nice taste.  Has a floral or fruit hint going on.  Requires more practicing.  Goes for just over $35 here in western Ohio.

It was the above unique port wine cask that got me.  Having just visited Portugal last year and sampled all sorts of port there...   And I do not like the prices of bourbon today.  Being somewhat frugal on my purchases, I squeak if looking at a bottle over $50.  But New Riff has some good stuff.

My dad drank some KY Tavern, Old Crow, Jim Beam, Old Grandad...I still remember fondly my first shot.  When You Take Your First Shot Of The Night | Facebook

Nice!! I'll pick some up to try for sure! The pic at the bottom reminds me- I bought myself a nice whiskey yesterday at the bar, the deadbeat guy who always bums drinks from me started hinting. While I was sipping on a nice bourbon, he got (without his knowledge) a nice well McCormicks lol. His face looked a lot like that!!

So you were in a Costco in south Florida? Tell me, how many grannies did you have elbow out of the way to get to a deal that choice? In my experience they are relentless.

  1. It was the liquor department, which in SoFla is granny-empty.
  2. Pro-tip: NEVER get in the Publix deli line. Them grannies are having a "how thin can you slice the turkey" contest that can take hours.

We need a big win to open the eyes of the fan base.  All of us “IU internet warriors” are excited about Cig and the upcoming season but I just looked at sections 103-110 along the sideline,  between the 10 & 10 yard lines on the IU bench side, and there are TONS of available seats.

Disappointing, because I felt Cig was generating a buzz, but winning a few games should  turn that around quickly.

Omg this is the truest thing ever!  Half the deli line is this, half is girls right off the beach in bikinis buying pub subs and hard seltzer.  Come to think of it, it's great people watching lol

I’ve considered it!

Order Pub Subs online, avoid waiting on grandma getting her turkey sliced down to the nanometer, be happy.

I saw something from the Athletic Department that Season Tickets were up 10% from last year, and that Student ticket sales were the highest in a few years.

If you are okay with having your interweb travel through the towers of Tobago, streameast is your video friend. Pro tip: if it gives you an and instead of a stream? Try gain and again until it clicks in.
