Thanks for the insight. In his video you see him taking and making several contested 3's. Is there consistency doing that? Any pull up shooting abilities? Thanks

Yes and yes...he improved as the year went on and this was his first year in D1.

Getting a five star incoming freshman this week hasn’t filled your to-date quota?

A little patience—guessing it won’t be all that long.

Hopefully this five Star can break the "Indiana" curse we bestow upon 4 and 5 star players....where they show up and can't shoot, defend and have a hoops IQ of 20.........

Kidding...sort of.....happy to see the Commit this week.

Watching this Connecticut and Illinois game, I vote we make it a priority to get an excellent rim protector again.

Edey has year of eligibility, instead of him going to the NBA maybe MW can throw the entire $6 million at him to protect our rims!

I’d be willing to roll the dice if the future high 4 and 5 stars  match our most recent high and 5 stars.

Ware, MM, Malik, JHS, Bates, Lander, Trace.  5 out of 7 is pretty strong.

Don’t forget about Romeo Langford

Yep,

Many disparage him but he was injured, stuck in Archie Ball, but still averaged 16.5 points a game and was second team all Big Ten per the coaches.

Totally agree, was looking forward to him at next level but has seemed to leave too early.

And most points coming in desperation with 5 seconds on the shot clock after standing in the left corner waiting on a pass that usually never came.

Seems familiar to what we see now.

JBJ, Rob Johnson, Troy Williams, Yogi, Zeller, Watford meet that criteria, too. Vonleh

Yep

I intentionally didn’t go back before the Archie era but there are a lot of positive examples. (Illinois could have used Eric Gordon last night LOL )

Also Bracey Wright. ;)

Dribble the clock down and launch a 28 footer. Man, we have had a lot of bad offenses in the last 25 or so years.

isn't that when we were supposed to get Josh Smith and Dwight Howard.

No. That was with DJ White and didn't Josh Smith sign a LOI?
