Olsen and Dorn as starters would be no bueno for our defense/rebounding. A lot like last years team.

If one of them is gonna get big minutes then the other spot HAS to be someone that can defend at this level.

Horrible.

Neither are plus athletes nor are Estrella or Brumbaugh. Burton is a plus athlete but is barely 6 foot on a good day, he's limited to a degree. I can't imagine watching 30+ IU games last year and think getting less athletic is the way to go.

Hence potential pursuit of Garrison. Trying to find that poor-man's Morez Johnson.

Wonder who else we will have portal out... that's a big part of the equation.

We will probably ask some guys to play bigger roles than they did at their last school. Our roster for next year will likely have plenty of question marks on paper. Hopefully it works out better this time.

Eric bossi just said the names he’s hearing the most often for IU are Burton and Brumbaugh, and that we may be gaining some traction with Juke Harris (HUGE NAME)

Now that is a needle mover

If they’re legitimately in on Harris the concerns about whether the program might be a hair short on funds this cycle have been completely overblown because he will be 1 of the most expensive players in the portal.

Offensively it matches perfectly.

We can figure out the other end lol

I think we are willing to spend fairly big on 3 guys. Then sprinkle the rest of the roster. If Haralson is a no, the top 3 money goes someplace. I would say Burton is big money. That leaves 2 spots in my mind.  Picking/getting the right guys for the bigger money spots will probably semi make/break the year.

I selfishly want one of them to be Bidunga because he’s so fun to watch. And impact is huge but I’m guessing he isn’t very likely.
