Mike Woodson to return as coach next season

There has been talk about getting a GM for next season. Can we get Woody a press secretary too?

It’s really simple, imo. The people in charge like Woodson and don’t care about winning. That’s the bottom line. And then they send their syndicates out to gaslight the fanbase. Not that it matters, but I won’t be spending a penny on anything IU-related moving forward. I encourage others to do the same.

I am processing my emotions, but it's no coincidence my laptop broke last night lol. Here is the thing... if IU wins, I don't really care if Woody, Pearl, Dusty is the coach... or if Stuhoo and Demo are going to be co-head coaches. I do not care as long as IU wins and holds the coach to a standard. 

I just don't think this decision helps put us on a path to do that sustainably. I will watch and cheer for the team but I will not give my money to the program via NIL or tickets any time soon. The stench of what all has transpired will linger in the air, for me, anyway. 

Since he's back regardless, I hope we win out and go to the tournament. Crush it in the portal and hang banner 6. I also hope I wake up with $100M in my bank account and this was all just a fever dream.

If that talk is accurate about a GM, shouldn't that person be in place for the opening of the portal?  If we don't put that person in place until next season, what is the point?

I was really just meaning after the season. Not literally next season

Can we get someone to do the actual coaching? Let Woodson sit there and look important while not actually doing anything.

That’s what I was thinking…

”ok guys, let’s bring Woody back but since we are, let’s make sure we bring in 20 people to do his job for him so we can try to be more successful.” Just give Woodson Armond Hill’s seat and let everyone else do the work….its like what’s the dang point. Just goes to show it’s a matter of helping out a former player/buddy to make him look good but have to get a brand new crew of experts to make it happen.

I truly hope that next season is where we return to prominence under Woody. I have no animosity toward him, and truly hope he can achieve greatness. I am very skeptical but will support the team as always!
