I may be completely off base and it stands against reason, but I have a sneaking suspicion that we are going to drastically over-perform on expectations during tonight’s game.

Call me on it if I’m way off base, but I think there’s a real chance that we pull off an upset.

I'm kind of in the same boat, but it feels more like I'm trying to convince myself to be honest. 

I just don't see it with this team... but tonight is really a key opportunity to start making something out of this season. If this team has any heart in them, they will bring intensity tonight. Whether they can build momentum then sustain it (due to a myriad of factors) is where I have my doubts. They've surprised us before. Tonight would be a very nice one! 

And with a whole week between games... lord knows we could use a different tune around here between games. Sucks how we have not helped ourselves so much to the point that we really need a win. IMO this is basically a must win, and if not a must win, it's whatever a half a step less than that is. Losing, even with a good showing, just won't leave me feeling semi-optimistic anymore. Maybe earlier in the season. But we've dug ourselves a hole where even if we start playing better ball, we won't be able to afford a lapse of any kind. 

Lot of season left. Hoping for the best tonight, expecting the worst.

At the very least if you are not going to go 3 guards, start Walker instead of Sparks. Sparks has no business seeing the floor against this team.

Last time we played up there, we had a 22 point lead in the first half. We gave up 5 straight points to end the half to only lead by 17 and people started losing their minds. I remember feeling oddly calm, that this was the breakout game of the Mike Woodson era and there was no way we'd lose. Then 21st century IU basketball showed up and reminded me that if there's a game to be lost and a crazy way to do it, a way will be found to make it happen. I went from thinking we'd win with about 10 minutes left to correctly predicting the final score with 5 minutes left.
