Its all unnecessary because there’s no reason for X to shoot with 9 sec left in the half.  
 

This is why you take the last shot. Got 4 fouls in 9 sec and literally gained no points from a scenario where X waited to shoot and missed.

Fouling them to disrupt their offensive set, when they have timeouts to use and can just draw up another play in the huddle is really really dumb IMO.
