I hope this season reflects our talent. I hope there are enough high water marks for the experiment to be seen as successful so he can appear to be stepping down. We can all voice our personal choices. I look forward to seeing Trent play next year.

I am sorry to miss on Mullins since I grew up in Greenfield and felt a personal connection there and of course, I think he would help IU.....but having said that, I'm not that torn up about it. Maybe it's excitement over the current roster or realization that there is a new paradigm in recruiting/roster building. I'd prefer IU keep the best instate players at home, but until they do I guess we'll have to buy mercenaries in the open market, like UCONN just did.

His dad had made a similar like to a post that was anti-Woodson last spring in terms of his son not getting 'enough attention' from Woods on.  And whether you agree with it or not (it's not like people haven't said on here that Woodson doesn't pay enough attention to recruits), as a father of a recruit you keep your damn business off of social media.

Yea, he's got some helicopter vibes to him.  I do think Braylon having some distance and a tough coach will be good for him though.  I don't think personalities were ever gonna match with staff and family here.  Maybe a bit of a Dane Fife type overlap.  

And, I'm not against Dane or Dakich (as much as others), but there needs to be a match between player/family/staff.

I know it is DD but did Woodson just kind of blow by Pat in the handshake line or was there something else?  As much as Woody was back in town and close to RMK I cannot believe he would not know who Pat was.  Not defending Woody here at all but curious as to why this is even being discussed unless it is just DD spouting.

They have known each other for years. Just a few weeks ago, they took a trip together to the Basketball Hall of Fame when RMK was honored.
